Our tutors at SuccessStories Tutoring are committed to providing
multisensory instructional strategies to help your child reach their academic goals.
Our tutors are state certified teachers with
a desire to see children learn and reach their full potential.
We offer tutoring in the core subjects;
reading, math, writing, science and history, plus test preparation and study skills. We also offer reading
tutoring using the Wilson Reading* program for children with dyslexia or specific reading difficulties. Our tutors also use the Handwriting Without Tears program, a multisensory handwriting program.

- Qualified to serve students with special needs: Our tutors have a Special Education(K-12) degree
and are licensed in the areas of:
- Learning Disabilities
- Mild Mental Retardation
- Emotional Handicaps
- Dyslexia
- Individualized Instruction: Our tutors will provide individualized instruction tailored to fit your
child's academic needs.
- Positive Reinforcement: Our tutors have a love for children and desire to see children believe in themselves. We
understand that your child may get frustrated and have a low self-esteem when having difficulty with school. We
provide positive reinforcement to encourage your child in their learning.
- Collaboration: We are available to speak with your child's teacher to discuss the strengths and needs
of your child in the classroom setting. This will help us meet the learning gaps that the teacher is seeing within the
classroom.
- Home School Families: We will provide weekly consultation with you. During this
consultation, we can give useful strategies to help with skills your child may be having difficulty with.
